This time, I’ll write about recommended sightseeing places close to Atamai Village.
Recommended place around Motueka and Nelson area
Kaiteriteri
This place is extraordinary beautiful.
There are many sea shells on the beach and our kids loved to pick them up.
Mei said, “Look, look! This sea shell is smiling!”.
It was the shell of the crab.
She has a good imagination!
There is also a playground close to the beach so kids can spend hours here.
By the way, many playgrounds in Australia and NZ are unique! Even adult tempted to play there.
Usually, there is a fence around it and the ground is soft so we do not have to worry too much while our kids are playing.
Abel Tasman National Park
You can go by car but we decided to go on a cruise from Kaiteriteri.
It was a bit expensive but worth it!

Sprit Apple Rock
We walked around the park and it was like jungle!!
The Smokehouse Cafe
We were recommended this place as good fish and chip place.
It was placed in Mapua, a small beautiful harbor.
I felt very relaxed.
This is the NZ fish & chips!!
It was less than $10 and four of us were full. Great value!
We ate fish & chips several times in Australia as well and found out that the shop close to the sea is usually good!
Some of it are delicious and some are not so I recommend you to try it at several places!
